AMC Networks’ Anne Rice Immortal Universe invaded San Diego Comic-Con’s Ballroom 20 with exciting panels for the debut season of Talamasca as well as a new season of Interview with the Vampire -- now titled Anne Rice’s The Vampire Lestat -- both moderated by TV Guide Magazine’s Damian Holbrook.

Anne Rice’s Talamasca panel included Executive Producer Mark Johnson, who oversees the Anne Rice Immortal Universe; Showrunners and Executive Producers John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty; and series stars Nicholas Denton (“Guy Anatole”), William Fichtner (“Jasper”), Maisie Richardson-Sellers (“Olive”) and Celine Buckens (“Doris”), as well as an exclusive reveal of the official teaser trailer, a first look scene from the premiere episode, and the premiere date announcement of Sunday, October 26th at 9pm ET/PT.

Attendees were treated to a surprise appearance by Eric Bogosian, who portrays investigative journalist and author of Interview with a Vampire, “Daniel Molloy,” and the announcement that he will reprise his role, guest starring as a crossover character in the new series.

Holbrook then kicked off a discussion for The Vampire Lestat, inspired by the Anne Rice novel, featuring panelists Johnson; Showrunner and Executive Producer Rolin Jones; Composer Daniel Hart; and cast members Sam Reid (Lestat de Lioncourt), Jacob Anderson (Louis de Pointe du Lac) and Bogosian, who discussed the new season.

Attendees were given an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at The Vampire Lestat and new photos of the rockstar Lestat as well as casting news, including:
