Since its premiere at the Stanley Film Festival in May, director Adam Egypt Mortimer's "Some Kind of Hate" has been gearing up to give slasher film fans something to look forward to when it is released in North America by Image Entertainment later this year. In the meantime, anyone making his/her way to Montreal for the Fantasia International Film Festival will have a chance to check it out on July 26th when "Some Kind of Hate" screens as part of the 2015 festival lineup.

Featuring Grace Phipps (Disney's "Teen Beach 2"), Sierra McCormick (Disney's "ANT Farm"), Ronen Rubinstein, Spencer Breslin, and Noah Segan, "Some Kind of Hate" tells the story of a reform school camp in chaos after a bullied teenager inadvertently summons a vengeful phantom. Don't let the Disney pedigrees of its leading ladies fool you. "Some Kind of Hate" has much more horror to offer than any ordinary supernatural slasher (click here for review).
Whether you like the film’s irreverent attitude or not, “Street Trash” is exactly the rude, ridiculous, rebellious movie Kruger means for it to be.
